Guest Policies for Camp "Id-Ra-Ha-Je" West

Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West is a non-denominational Christian camp, recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization. We want all of our guests to feel comfortable here, and to make sure this camp may be suited for your activity, we list several basic policies of the camp for your information.

  • The camp is available for use by Bible-believing churches and non-profit ministry agencies. On occasion, our facilities are used by other non-profit agencies such as hospitals, school districts, etc. Every new group desiring to use the camp's facilities will submit a Statement of Faith, and provide basic doctrinal information.
  • Alcohol and illegal drugs are strictly forbidden on the camp grounds. Smoking is permitted only within a small confined area at the camp. Additionally, we ask that you do not bring fireworks, weapons, pornography, questionable movies, or other hazardous materials to the camp.
  • Please leave all pets at home...this includes dogs and cats. The camp maintains a licensed food establishment, as well as a licensed child care facilities. Animals are not allowed in the buildings at the camp. Dogs have proven to be a nuisance, even if left outside or in a vehicle. Please help us by not bringing your pet to camp.
  • The road into camp travels through private property not owned by the camp. While it is a legal right of way for the camp, we ask that you be considerate of our neighbors and drive slow to not create dust, noise, or safety concerns for pedestrians.
  • After arriving at camp, please inquire as to the location of the camp boundaries.
  • While at the camp, please keep food, drinks, and other liquids off of carpeted areas. We are extremely cautious about the camp's chapel. The only consumable substance allowed in the chapel is bottled water that has a sealable lid. No exceptions to this rule.
  • The camp's facilities are here for everyone to enjoy. Please excercise care and good stewardship with them. Repairs are costly. If something gets broken, please report it to the camp director.
  • We ask that you help us conserve energy, especially during the winter months by keeping doors closed, and cabin heat set to reasonable levels. Please turn off lights when rooms are unoccupied.
Thank you for considering Camp "Id-Ra-Ha-Je" West. Rules are never enjoyable to list, but necessary so the camp can continue to provide a place for others, and to bring honor and glory to God. Thank you again for your cooperation.
