Staff Needs
We are currently seeking staff on the following levels:
Camp Cooks
Cook's Helper
Camp Nurses
Dishwashers
Groundskeepers
For the Summer of 2008, we will be looking for kitchen help and other support staff as needed. The typical committment is 4 to 5 weeks of summer. This is a volunteer position.
As part of the application process, each applicant must complete the 4-page application, provide necessary referances, be willing to have a background check, and report to camp 3 days before campers for orientation.
We want all of our staff to exemplify servanthood, as illustrated by our Lord Jesus Christ. This is not a place to exalt self, or a place to introduce the ways of the world to children. We have high expectations for our staff, that they lead lives that glorify God, live and dress modestly, and have a desire to serve Him with their lives.
Our staff are expected to be in harmony and support of the camp's mission to be a Bible-centered ministry to children, youth, and adults. As we have stated elsewhere on this web site, we avoid technique and methodology in favor of simply proclaiming the Gospel and the Word of God. It is our desire to have staff that are growing in the Word.
